Israeli occupation kills Palestinian youth in occupied Al-Quds

Occupied Al-Quds- A Palestinian youth was martyred around midnight after sustaining a serious injury caused by Israeli gunfire in occupied Al-Quds (Jerusalem).

The Palestinian, identified as Mohammad Khaled Al-Osaibi, 26, from the town of Houra in the Naqab desert, was shot and killed by Israeli police while he was near Chain Gate, one of the gates leading into Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Witnesses, according to WAFA News Agency, said the Israeli police killed Osaibi in cold blood and from a very short distance after he intervened to help a Palestinian woman who was being assaulted by the police and forced to leave Al-Aqsa Mosque.

With the martyrdom of Al-Osaibi, the number of Palestinians, who have been killed by the Israeli occupation since the beginning of this year, reached 92, including 17 children.

Speaker of the Palestinian National Council Rouhi Fattouh condemned the Israeli crime of killing Al-Osaibi , describing it as a dangerous escalation against the Palestinian people which pose a threat to the entire region.
