The Palestinians reiterate their adherence to Al-Quds as the capital of their independent state

Occupied Al-Quds- The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stressed that by insisting to pray in Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Palestinians prove their adherence to the city of Al-Quds as the capital of their independent State. They also prove the failure of the Israeli occupation policy that aims at separating the city from its surroundings and its Palestinian identity, the ministry added.

In a statement on Friday, the ministry condemned the restrictions imposed by the occupation to prevent the Palestinians from entering the Mosque and pray in it, describing  such behavior as a collective punishment that aims at severing the Palestinians’ ties with their sacred city.

For his part, Osama Al-Qawasmi, spokesman of Fateh Movement, said that preventing worshippers from reaching the mosque  proves that the occupation seek to escalate tension and impede attaining any settlement.
