The National Center for Seismology: An earthquake measuring 4.3 degrees recorded northwest of Aleppo

Damascus (ST): The National Seismological Center announced that an earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale was recorded, northwest of Aleppo, about 85 kilometers away.

The center said in a statement today: The tremor occurred at 13:57 at longitude 36.672 east and latitude 36.880 north, at a depth of 11 km.

The center added that it recorded 9 tremors during the past 24 hours, until 8:00 am today, with a magnitude of less than 3.6 degrees on the Richter scale.

The center stated that 4 of the recorded tremors were in Iskenderun and 5 in Turkey, indicating that the seismic situation is heading towards a return to what prevailed before 6 February.
