On the anniversary of Land Day, a massive demonstration organized in the 1948-occupied territories

Occupied Jerusalem (ST): Hundreds of Palestinians in the occupied Palestinian territories in 1948 commemorated yesterday  the 47th anniversary of Land Day, stressing that the Palestinian people will adhere to their national rights until achieving their goals of freedom and establishing their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.

News reporters explained that the participants in the demonstration, which was organized in the city of Sakhnin, raised Palestinian flags and pictures of the martyrs, and chanted slogans condemning the occupation’s crimes and practices against the Palestinians, stressing that their roots are deep in their homeland and their adherence to its soil, for which they sacrificed thousands of martyrs and prisoners, no matter how arrogant the occupier is.

The participants in the demonstration, which started from Al-Shuhada Street and toured the streets of the city to the Martyrs’ Monument, stated that the memory that was recorded in the blood of the martyrs and the sacrifices of the Palestinian people returns today, and that the occupation authorities are practicing the most heinous racist crimes against the Palestinians in an attempt to eradicate them from their land.

The participants stressed that the resistance proved that it is the only solution to liberate the land from the occupation and that any victory for the resistance in Syria or Lebanon is a victory for Palestine.
