On the occasion of Syrian Student Day, our students in Cuba renew their support for their homeland

Havana (ST): Syrian students studying in Cuban universities expressed their solidarity with their motherland, Syria, and their support for their valiant army, their steadfast people, and their courageous leadership, stressing that the blood of the righteous martyrs will remain the beacon that gives them determination and commitment.

The Cuba branch of the National Union of Syrian Students said in a statement:  “This important occasion in the history of the Syrian student movement increases today more than ever their insistence on persistence in acquiring sciences and knowledge, as the only way to strengthen the country’s status and achieve the aspirations of our people towards progress and prosperity.

The branch added: “We assure you that the homeland has never lost sight of our thoughts, and we were and still are the best messengers for this dear homeland and we will remain so.We will work to achieve distinguished degrees in the arenas of science and knowledge so that we can return to our homeland and contribute side by side to its reconstruction”.
