Palestinian National Council affirms the Palestinian people will continue to defend their land

The Palestinian National Council affirmed that the Palestinian people will continue to struggle in defense of their land and dignity, no matter how the Israeli occupation’s terrorism against them escalates.

In a statement today on the occasion of the 47th  anniversary of Land Day, the Council stated that the Palestinians are witnessing today more Israeli  massacres and attempts to uproot them from their land, as the war waged by the occupation forces and settler gangs on Palestinian land in the city of Al-Quds (Jerusalem) and the rest of the West Bank escalates in preparation for its annexation, Judaization and siege it with settlements.

The Council indicated that 47 years have passed since Land Day, and the Palestinian people are still suffering under occupation, while the world continues to remain silent, deafen its ears, and close its eyes to the occupation’s terrorism, its theft of land, and its burning of homes over the heads of its inhabitants, including children, the elderly, and women. It stressed that the Palestinian people have not and will not surrender and will defend their land and dignity until liberation and the defeat of the occupation.
