Sea ports on the coastal line closed, except for the commercial port of Tartous, due to the storm

Damascus (ST): The Ministry of Transport announced that the General Directorate of Ports closed all seaports on the coastal strip, with the exception of the commercial port of Tartous, due to the sea storm and the accompanying increase in wind speed and high sea waves.

The ministry indicated, in a statement  that the General Directorate of Ports warned against using marine boats for any purpose (fishing – transportation…) and not to risk that and to coordinate with its marine outposts for any emergency.
