The Syrian pavilion, represented by the Syrian Embassy in Minsk, included a collection of books in the Arabic and Russian languages, publications, brochures, and cultural and tourist CDs, in addition to pictures, crafts, and traditional clothing that express Syria’s history and civilization.
The Belarusian Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Information, Sergey Alinik and Vladimir Pertsov, visited the Syrian pavilion in the exhibition, and exchanged conversations with the Syrian Ambassador to Belarus, Muhammad Al-Omrani, about ways to enhance cultural cooperation between the two friendly countries.
The two ministers expressed their admiration for the history and civilization of Syria, and thanked the embassy for its permanent participation in the exhibition.
The pavilion was also visited by a number of ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Minsk, as well as a large number of Belarusian citizens.
It is noteworthy that the exhibition opened on the twenty-second of this month, and ended its activities yesterday.
