The Center for Supporting Women in Daraa Announces Holding Vocational and Educational Training Courses to Empower Women

The center for supporting and empowering women of the Syrian Family Planning Association branch in Daraa announced holding free vocational and educational training courses for women to help them improve their socio-economic condition.

The center’s director Nada Al Asfar told SANA reporter that the courses being implemented with the support of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) covers the fileds of ACDL computer Drivinf Licence, accounting, and household electricity, indicating that the trainers of the courses are specialized and experienced.

Al-Asfar pointed out that the center for supporting and empowering woman is constantly working to support and empowering women through free courses to hone their skills and introduce them to the labor market so they can assume the role assigned to them in society. She explained that the number of the beneficiaries from the center’s free courses during the current year reached 177 women.

Registration for the courses continues until April 1st .
