The foreign ministers of Iran and Saudi Arabia discuss by phone the arrangements for the joint meeting and the path of restoring relations
Tehran (ST): Iranian Foreign Minister Hussein Amir Abdullahian discussed with his Saudi counterpart Faisal bin Farhan, during a phone call today, the latest developments regarding the agreement to resume bilateral relations and hold a meeting between them soon.
The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement today: “The two sides discussed in this phone conversation the joint meeting scheduled to be held during the month of Ramadan and they exchanged views on it,” noting that the two ministers praised the constructive path of relations between the two countries.
The two ministers agreed, during a phone call three days ago, to hold a meeting soon to pave the way for the reopening of the embassies and consulates.
