An earthquake recorded off the Japanese island of Honshu

Tokyo (ST): An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale hit today off the eastern coast of the Japanese island of Honshu, without reports of injuries or material damage.

The Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center stated that the tremor occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers below sea level, at the confluence of 38.25 degrees north latitude and 142.13 degrees east longitude.
