A delegation from the Holy Threshold of Al-Hussainiya in Iraq provides equipment and medical supplies to the Jableh National Hospital

Latakia (ST): The Martyr Ibrahim Naama National Hospital in Jableh received a batch of medical aid provided by the Holy Threshold of Al-Hussainiya in Iraq, in a way that supports the hospital’s efforts and contributes to increasing the level of medical services provided to patients and visitors.

A delegation from the Holy Husseiniya Threshold, headed by Major General Ali al-Hamdani, was briefed on the rehabilitation work that had been accomplished in the emergency, laboratory and cardiac care departments, pointing out that the value of the provided equipment amounted to more than 1.4 billion Syrian pounds, in addition to the rehabilitation work at a value of more than 100 million pounds.

He explained that this aid contributes to improving the health services provided by the hospital to citizens, and it comes based on the directives of the Supreme Religious Authority, Sayyid Ali al-Sistani, and the religious leader, Sheikh Abd al-Mahdi al-Karbalai, to stand by the Syrian people and help them get out of their ordeal after the catastrophe of the earthquake that befell them.

The medical aid provided included patient monitors, an electric heart defibrillator, an electrocardiograph for the cardiac care department, tubes, hematocrit, and an electron microscope for the laboratory, in addition to 50 beds, mattresses, safes, and dining tables.

In turn, the director of the hospital, Dr. Qusai Khalil, thanked the Iraqi brothers, especially the Holy Threshold of Al-Hussainiya, for the assistance they provided, indicating that the new medical equipment will enhance the performance of the medical and nursing cadres, which will reflect positively on the quality of health services.
