A tourist group made up of 14 Spaniards and Portuguese nationalities including doctors, engineers and pensioners visited the archaeological city of Bosra Al-Sham yesterday.
The group toured various tourist sites in the city, including Bosra Castle, where they spent about four hours reveling in the history and the splendor of construction.
The tour guide accompanying the group, Bassam Abboud said in a statement to SANA correspondent that the tour group was greatly impressed by the masterpiece of the architecture found at Bosra Citadel, and the many historical monuments spread in the city of Bosra Al-Sham.
Dara ‘a Tourism Director Yasser al-Saadi noted the boom and return of mass tourism, both internal and external, to the southern region as a result of concerted efforts to highlight the true meaning of the return of security and safety to all parts of Syria.
