New York (ST): The Russian Permanent Mission to the United Nations has requested an informal meeting of the UN Security Council later today to discuss the problem of politicizing the work of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons.
TASS news agency quoted the mission as telling reporters yesterday: “The event is titled ‘The Risks of Politicization of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons’, and the meeting will begin at five o’clockin the afternoon Moscow time”.
