The army repels a major attack by Al-Nusra terrorists and inflicts heavy losses on them in the western countryside of Aleppo

Aleppo (ST): Units of our valiant armed forces repelled a major terrorist attack in the western countryside of Aleppo, and the terrorists suffered heavy losses in personnel and equipment.

The Ministry of Defense said in a statement on its website that “units of our armed forces repelled a major terrorist attack yesterday evening launched by a terrorist group from the terrorist organization “Jabhat al-Nusra” on our positions in the Kafr Amma area, east of Atareb, in the western countryside of Aleppo, taking advantage of the iftar time.

The statement indicated that the army units inflicted heavy losses on the terrorists in personnel and equipment, and eliminated eleven terrorists, including the leader of the group, and wounded large numbers of them. Five bodies of those killed, including foreign nationalities, were recovered and their weapons and equipment were seized.
