General Organization for Cinema participates in the movie “Cheese” at the International Souss Festival in Morocco

Damascus, (ST) – General Organization for Cinema is participating in the fifteenth session of the Souss International Short Film Festival in the Moroccan city of Ait Melloul, through the short film “Cheese” which will compete in the official competition for the short narrative film.

“Cheese” is written by Talal Lababidi and directed by Walid Ahmed Darwish. It focuses on the Syrian person and the effects of the terrorist war on him. It also talks about the role of journalism as a humanitarian profession above all.

The film starring Raed Musharraf, Ruba Al-Mamoun, Gida Al-Khalidi, Tariq Nakhla, Sally Akroush, Nada Mahfouz and Muhammad Abko, and the two children Hashim Khaddour and Saba Haifawi.

It is noteworthy that the Souss International Short Film Festival includes three competitions: the short narrative film competition, the short documentary film competition and the national short film competition.
