19 tremors recorded in the past 24 hours
Damascus (ST): The National Earthquake Center announced that the number of tremors recorded during the past 24 hours, until 7:37 am today, amounted to 19 weak tremors.
The Center stated in a statement that the stations of the National Seismic Monitoring Network monitored 4 tremors in the Iskenderun district, two tremors, the first 19 km southeast of Latakia and the second 38 km east of Latakia, and the first two tremors 22 km southwest of Idlib and the second 39 km northwest of Idlib and 3 tremors in the Mediterranean Sea, a tremor on the Syrian-Turkish border, and 7 in Turkey.
The Center indicated that the strength of the tremors ranged between 1.5 and 3.9 on the Richter scale, and at different depths, reaching 36.3 km.
