LATTAKIA- The “Al-Basel” Hospital in the city of Qardaha, Lattakia, on Saturday received a Russian medical aid, weighting 2 tons. The aid includes resuscitation and anesthesia supplies and equipment.
Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Andre Nikolayevich, Deputy Head of Russian medical services in Syria told SANA that about 2 tons of medical supplies and medicines were delivered to “Al-Basel” Hospital.
Dr. Ammar Youssef, Head of Rehabilitation and Training Section at Health Directorate in Lattakia, thanked Russia for this medical aid, saying that several Russian aid had previously been provided to a number of hospitals in Lattakia in coordination with the Health Ministry.
Dr. Suhail Makhlouf, Director of “Al-Basel” Hospital, said that the assistance provided by the Russian Federation will improve the level of medical services provided to citizens.
In addition, a Russian aid shipment of food materials, including flour, vegetable oil, sugar, tea, children food, also arrived in the countryside of Qardaha.
