Tehran (ST): Iranian Foreign Minister Hussein Amir Abdullahian described relations between his country and the International Atomic Energy Agency as “on the right track.”
The Iranian Foreign Ministry said in a statement that “Abdullahian discussed, during a phone call with the European Union Commissioner for Foreign Policy and Security, Josep Borrell, the lifting of the embargo on Iran, cooperation between Tehran and the International Atomic Energy Agency, and the crisis in Ukraine,” noting that Abdullahian renewed emphasizing Iran’s opposition to the war in Ukraine, and its support for peace.
Abdullahian called on the West, instead of repeating unfounded accusations against Iran, to encourage Ukraine to provide documented evidence during the official meeting of the political and military delegations of both countries and to replace official dialogue with baseless and repeated accusations.
