President Al-Assad arrives in Moscow

MOSCOW, Mar.14, ( ST)- President Bashar Al-Assad arrived in Moscow this evening on an official visit, during which he will hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The official reception ceremony for President Al-Assad was held at Vnukova International Airport in Moscow, according to the Russian protocol.

His Excellency was received by Mikhail Bogdanov, the special representative of President Putin, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alexander Yefimov, the Russian ambassador to Damascus, and Bashar Al-Jaafari, the Syrian ambassador to Moscow.

The Syrian and Russian national anthems were played, and President Al-Assad reviewed the guard of honor.

President al-Assad is accompanied on his visit by a large ministerial delegation.
