Syria, Kazakhstan discuss activating joint parliamentary relations

Members of the Syrian-Kazakh Friendship Committee in the People’s Assembly discussed with the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Syria Saeb Nahas ways to activate parliamentary relations between the two friendly countries and strengthen friendship in all fields.

During the meeting, the chairman and members of the committee expressed their thanks for the relief efforts made by Kazakhstan during the earthquake disaster that hit Syria last month, stressing the need to intensify meetings between the two sides, exchange experiences and activate the work of joint friendship committees, for the benefit of the two friendly countries and peoples.

For his part, Nahas stressed the importance of strengthening and developing relations between Syria and Kazakhstan in all fields, and overcoming obstacles, noting the role of the parliaments of the two countries in increasing cooperation at all levels, especially the economic ones.
