The Bahraini ambassador stresses his country’s keenness on enhancing economic and trade cooperation with Syria

Bahrain’s ambassador to Damascus Wahid Mubarak affirmed his country’s keenness to strengthen its relations with Syria and develop economic and commercial cooperation between the two countries.

During his visit to the Damascus Chamber of Industry, Ambassador Mubarak expressed the depth of the fraternal relations between Syria and Bahrain, expressing his aspiration to work for the development and expansion of these relations in all fields and to activate the role of the industrial and commercial chambers and businessmen in the two countries in this context.

The ambassador called on the chambers of industry in Syria to participate in the specialized exhibitions held in Bahrain and to benefit from the facilities provided by his country to the participants in these exhibitions and to businessmen wishing to invest, pointing out that Bahrain has one joint chamber of commerce and industry and it is one of the oldest chambers of commerce in the Gulf region.

For his part, the head of the Damascus Chamber of Industry, Ghazwan al-Masri, expressed the chamber’s readiness to cooperate in various fields and discuss investment opportunities and trade exchange for materials that enter a number of industries, especially petrochemicals, pointing to the importance of joint coordination to participate in exhibitions held in both countries and to stimulate mutual visits between the two countries.
