Scores of terrorists knocked out

PROVINCES, (ST)- Army units on Monday carried out military operations against terrorists’ groupings  and dens, eliminating countless number of them and  destroying their weapons in several areas nationwide.

In Damascus,army units discovered two tunnels, the first tunnel is 70m length and the second tunnel is 150m length in the farms and groves to the south of Tishreen Hospital in Barzeh, eliminating armed terrorist groups in the neighborhood.

In Daraa,”army units eliminated armed terrorist groups, some members of which belong to Jabhat al-Nusra, destroying their weapons and ammunition in al-Mokhaiyam and the villages of Tafas, Nawa , Izra al-Hammadin,according to a military source.

The source addeds that an army unit destroyed a Pickup loaded with weapons and ammunition in Atman town.

Four children martyred  in Damascus mortar fire

 4 students were killed and when  mortar round fired by terrorists hit a school bus in Bab Sharqi area in Damascus,a local media reported.

Mohammad Mardini ,the Education Director in Damascus, who inspected the attack’s scene,told a local daily that  that 4 students and the bus driver have been martyred in the attack, adding that 4 other students and two superintendents who were in the bus have been wounded.

Moreover, 11 children have been wounded due to terrorist attacks with mortar rounds on al-Qassaa’ neighborhood.

“a mortar shell fired by terrorists hit John of Damascus School in al-Qassaa’ neighborhood, wounding 11 children and causing material damage to the school building,” said a source at Damascus Police Command.

The source also added  that an attack with two mortar shells caused material damage to the Holy Cross Church in al-Qassaa’ neighborhood, as terrorists targeted with a mortar round the Kyrillos Church, causing no casualties.

A mortar round also hit Aleppo Street, causing material damage to 6 cars in the area.
