Cairo (ST): The Syrian students in Cairo emphasized the importance of civilized communication between different peoples in order to converge on knowledge and constructive communication.
During their participation on behalf of Egypt’s branch of the National Union of Syrian Students in the activities of the Peoples’ Forum organized by the Canadian University in Egypt, the students explained that Syria has remained throughout history a beacon of science, arts and culture, and presented the world with love and peace, and that despite the dark war imposed on it, its message always remains loaded with peace to all free people in the world.
The students stressed the need to lift the unjust economic blockade imposed on Syria, especially in light of the humanitarian situation it is witnessing in the aftermath of the earthquake disaster.
Syrian students also organized an exhibition of Syrian food, which was admired by the participants in the forum.
