In support of Syria,  the Syrian Social Party in Melbourne calls for lifting blockade and Western sanctions

The Syrian Social Nationalist Party (SSNP) in Melbourne announced the “Humanitarian Mobility” in support of Syria, and in demand for lifting of the Western blockade on it in order to provide relief aid to those affected by the earthquake that it was exposed to on the sixth of last February.

In a speech during the gathering, the Australian Federal Parliament member representing the seat of Kolwal MP Maria Vamvakino underlined the necessity of lifting the Western blockade and sanctions on Syria. She voiced her support for Syria and its people, noting that their demands will be conveyed to the Australian Federal Parliament so that they are fulfilled.

Famfakino affirmed its sympathy with Syria, especially the people affected by the violent earthquake that struck their regions.

Dean of the SSNP in Melbourne,  Samir Al-Asmar, confirmed in the speech of the Syrian Social Nationalist Party that Syria is steadfast in the face of earthquakes, hurricanes, aggression, and the sanctions of the so-called “Caesar’s Law” and its siege. He indicated that the party was and still is on the side of the Syrian people, and will work its utmost so that its demands for lifting the siege on Syria and the abolition of illegal sanctions against it and its people are fulfilled.

The party announced the assistance of two hundred and forty families from Aleppo, Latakia and Jableh in securing house and apartment rents for six months, as well as providing similar assistance to the people of Alexandretta, Antioch and Mardin who were hit by the earthquake.
