The Syrian national team of table tennis will participate in the West Asian qualifiers and Iraq’s International Table tennis Championship, which will be held in the Iraqi city of al-Sulaymaniyah.
Bassam Khalil, Head of Syrian Arab Table Tennis Federation, told SANA that the Syrian team’s participation in the qualifiers, scheduled to kick off on Monday, is part of the Federation’s program to upgrade the technical level of the players”. He pointed out that Iraq’s International Championship will be supervised by the game’s international federation, and that all the scores will be included in the official classification list approved by this federation.
The players, Salem Zaza, Zaid Qattini, Hovik Misakian, Omar Salloum, Hind Zaza, Naya Suleiman, Ibaa Hallaq and Bana Arnouk, are members of the Syrian team to take part in these tournaments.
