Pakistan renews its refusal to recognize Israel

Pakistan on Saturday renewed its refusal to recognize the Israeli occupation entity.

Sputnik quoted the Pakistani Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari as saying during a press conference at the UN Headquarters in New York, that there are cultural and historical reasons behind the decision not to recognize Israel.

“The Pakistani people have their own reasons and we are proud that we decided long time ago not to recognize an apartheid state,” Bhutto said.

He added that “we used to write on the passports traveling is allowed to all countries except South Africa and [Israel], but today, we write traveling is allowed to all countries except Israel. This is Pakistan’s stance.”
