Distributing food aid to those affected by the earthquake in Salhab, Hama countryside
On March 9th, Hama Governorate distributed food aid provided by the Russian Federation to those affected by the earthquake in the shelter center in Salhab, in the western countryside of Hama.
General Alexander, the supervisor of the distribution of Russian aid, said in a statement that the aid is a humanitarian contribution for the benefit of those affected, to alleviate their suffering, extend a helping hand to them, and create a feeling among them that there are friends standing by their side.
Director of the Earthquake Response Operations Room in Hama Governorate, Muhammad Abu Jadaan, stated in a similar statement that the Russian aid includes foodstuffs such as sugar, rice, oil and tea.
