General Film Organization participates in the Ismailia International Film Festival for short documentaries

Damascus (ST): The General Film Organization is participating in the official competition of the 24th Ismailia International Film Festival for Short Documentary Films, with the short film “Disorder”.

The film, which bears the signature of Lotus Masoud in the script and direction, tells the story of a young man in his thirties who gets out of a psychiatric hospital and returns to his home after the end of the treatment period. He recounts the details of his day in the capital before going to his home. He discovers chaos and crazy events in the capital, and sees the conditions of its residents and their behavior and actions.

The Ismailia Festival will be held from the 14th to the 20th of March, with the participation of about 50 countries. This year, it has introduced a number of new programs in addition to its main programs, including the Cross-Genre Films Program and the Very Short Films Program, which includes 17 films ranging from one to three minutes selected in cooperation with the Very Short Film Festival, which is held annually in several French cities.
