Al-Khatib condemns recent Israeli attack on Aleppo International Airport

BEIRUT, Mar.7, (ST)- The deputy chairman of the Supreme Shiite Islamic Council in Lebanon, Sheikh Ali Al-Khatib, has strongly condemned the Israeli attack on Aleppo International Airport at dawn today.

Al-Khatib said in a statement released on Tuesday: “ This Israeli attack reflects the barbarism of the Zionist entity, its arrogance, and its hostility to all human values and norms.”

He added: “We call on the United Nations and international and humanitarian institutions to put an end these attacks and the Western blockade on Syria, and to increase the aid for the victims and the people who were affected by the earthquake.”
