Syrian Army Continues Elimination of Terrorists

PROVINCES, (ST)-Units of the armed forces battered an armed terrorist group in Damascus, Daraa and Homs, destroying their dens and weapons.

In Damascus countryside, a military source told the local media that dens of terrorists with their  weapons and ammunition were  destroyed eastern Deir Attiya, western Jabaadeen, northern east al-Nabek and southern Qara.

Dens of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists  were smashed on Nawa-Tseel road in Daraa countryside, with all the terrorists inside.

In Idleb Countryside, a  military source told a local media that the hideouts of terrorists were in Kfar Lata, Maaret Msreen in Idleb.

In Homs countryside, a military source told a local media that  the army units completely controlled the road between Talbiseh and al-Ghanto after eliminating terrorists who were blocking the roads and attacking citizens.

An official source told local media that a large amounts of weapons and ammunitions were destroyed in addition to dismantling tens of explosive devices.

An army unit killed members of armed terrorist groups in Mahin town in Homs countryside, while other army units struck many terrorists in al-Warsheh, Bab al-Sebaa and Jurat al-Shayah neighborhoods as well as in  the villages of Kafar Laha, Aqrab and al-Khalediyeh.

The source added that 16 persons involved in the recent events surrendered themselves  with their weapons to the competent authorities in Tal-Kalakh countryside, pointing out that they were released after pledging that they will desist from involvement in any acts targeting the security of the country and citizens.

In Aleppo and countryside, the army units killed a large number of terrorists and destroyed their dens, rocket launching pads and mortars in addition to 11 cars loaded with weapons and ammunitions and equipped with heavy machine guns in the youth residence during a series of operations against terrorist concentrations.

The source said that large numbers of terrorists were hit east of al-Nayrab and the industrial city in Sheikh Najjar, near al-Nakkarin and Tal Abu Dana, Tal Hasel, the area surrounding al-Kindi hospital, the central prison, al-Mansoura, the area surrounding Carlton Hotel in old Aleppo and al-Sakhour neighborhood.
