Foreign Ministry: Israeli Aggression on Aleppo International Airport reflects Israel’s barbaric image
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in a statement on Tuesday that the Israeli aggression, that targeted Aleppo International Airport this dawn, putting it out of service, is a double crime as it targeted a civilian airport on the one hand, and a main channel for the delivery of humanitarian aid from inside and outside Syria to the victims of the devastating earthquake that struck the region on February 6th, on the other.
The Ministry added that this aggression again reflects the worst forms of barbarism and inhumanity practiced by the Israeli entity, and the most flagrant violations of the international law and the international humanitarian law.
The ministry said that Syria warns the Israeli entity against continuing to commit such crimes. It has called on the international community to condemn these crimes and work to put an end to them, especially as they pose serious threat to security and peace in the region and the world.
