Syrian Society for Social Development Continues Its Relief Work in Quake-Affected Areas 

Lattlakia (ST) – The Syrian Society for Social Development continues its relief work by providing aid to the various governorates affected by the earthquake, through targeted campaigns and voluntary initiatives. 

The founder and executive director of the association, Mahmoud al-Khaled, stated that the association has provided urgent assistance, including medicine, infant formula, gauze and sterilizers delivered to Aleppo National Hospital, in addition to blankets and winter clothes to those affected in Jableh. 

In turn, the media coordinator of the association, Ahmed Salah El-Din Moussa, stressed that the association organized an awareness campaign about the earthquake, its risks, and the mechanism of action during and after the occurrence of the disaster. 

The association is also working with “Qadera” organization for community development to provide psychosocial support sessions and psychological counseling for children and affected people in the governorates of Lattakia and Aleppo.
