The Syrian Muay Thai team won two silver and one bronze medals in the Arab Championship, which concluded today in the United Arab Emirates.
The two silver medals were awarded to Sarah Al-Ahmad weighing 48 kg and Hussein Abeda weighing 60 kg, while the bronze medal was won by Aline Dergham weighing 60 kg.
Manar Al-Bazra, Chairman of the Kickboxing and Muay Thai Federation, said: “The competition was strong between the participating teams, which represented 17 countries.”
He added that our male and female players performed well, and were able to reach the podiums with merit, noting that the participating teams competed in the championship at allweights.
