The Russian Investigative Committee begins an investigation into the case of Kiev’s mistreatment of Russian prisoners of war

Moscow (ST): The Russian Investigative Committee announced the opening of an investigation into the mistreatment of Russian prisoners of war by the Kiev regime.

RIA Novosti quoted the committee as saying in a statement: “The investigation committee will provide a procedural assessment of every illegal act against Russian prisoners of war, and will take comprehensive measures in order to bring the perpetrators to justice”.

In turn, the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Lugansk Republic, Victoria Serdyukova, said: “The captured soldiers are being held in the Ukrainian “Zabad-1” camp in very cold weather without adequate clothing, which leads to a serious deterioration in health.
