Tartous (ST): A ship carrying relief aid provided by the Romanian people and the Syrian community in Romania arrived at the port of Tartous for those affected by the earthquake that struck the country on the sixth of last February.
The deputy head of the Executive Office in Tartous Governorate, Judge Hassan Naous, said in a statement to reporters after receiving the aid that the ship coming from a Romanian port to Syria carries aid consisting of foodstuffs, clothes, shoes, blankets and supplies for children.
Naous noted that it is the first time that a ship carrying aid comes to Syria from European ports, pointing out that this aid is provided by Romanian citizens and the Syrian community present in Romania, and it will be sent to the affected people in the provinces and regions that were affected by the earthquake.
