Ankara, (ST) – An earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale struck southern Turkey on Wednesday.
The Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority stated that the tremor occurred at a depth of 11.06 km, without immediate news of damage or injuries as a result of the tremor.
On the sixth of this February, a double earthquake struck southern Turkey, the first measuring 7.7 degrees, and the second measuring 7.6 degrees, followed by thousands of violent aftershocks, killing 45,089 people, in addition to causing massive damage to property.
