Dozens of Palestinians in Tulkarem call for stopping Israeli occupation’s crimes against prisoners

OCCUPIED AL-QUDS, Feb.28, (ST)- During a solidarity stand organized today in the city of Tulkarem in the West Bank, dozens of Palestinians called on the international community to intervene urgently in support of the prisoners in the Israeli occupation jails, and to stop the occupation’s continuous crimes against them, especially the sick ones.

According to WAFA News Agency, the participants in the stand, which was organized by the Palestinian national forces and the families of the prisoners, raised the Palestinian flag and pictures of the prisoners, stressing that the occupation forces continue their violations against the prisoners through beating, abuse, psychological and physical torture, solitary confinement, and a policy of deliberate medical neglect, which is considered organized terrorism and crimes against humanity in a failed attempt to break their will and steadfastness.

Director of the Prisoners’ Club office in Tulkarem, Ibrahim Al-Nimr, called on the international, human rights and humanitarian institutions and the Red Cross to move seriously and put pressure on the occupation to support their just cause, and to release the prisoners as soon as possible.
