Daraa, (ST) – A new aid Jordan convoy entered yesterday through Nassib border crossing for those affected by the earthquake in Syria.
The Director of the crossing, Shadi Abazid, stated that the convey consisted of seven trucks provided by the Jordanian government and the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization, carrying foodstuffs, shelter supplies, and medicines for the benefit of international organizations operating in Syria.
Abazid pointed out that the trucks were unloaded under the supervision of the disaster management team at the SARC branch in Daraa, in preparation for contribution to the affected governorates.
On Sunday, 9 trucks loaded foodstuffs, medicines, and shelter supplies provided by the Jordanian government and the Syrian community in the Sultanate of Oman for those affected by the earthquake entered through Nassib border crossing.
