The International Committee of the Red Cross sends 8 electricity transformers to Lattakia

On February 27th, the Lattakia General Electricity Company received eight transformers of different capacities, within the framework of the assistance provided by the International Committee of the Red Cross to the governorates affected by the earthquake.

The director of the company Jaber Asi stated that these transformers have a variety of capacities. Four of them have a capacity of 200 KVA, while the other four have with a capacity of 400 KVA.

He added that the company’s workshops have begun installing two transformers with a capacity of 400 KVA to replace two transformers damaged by the earthquake, in the areas of Hanadi and Astamu.

He pointed out that the coming period will witness the installation of the rest of the transformers based on a specific time plan according to the needs of each area.
