The Opening of the First Shelter Center for Earthquake Victims in the Liberated Countryside of Idlib  

Idlib (ST) – Idlib governorate opened the first shelter center for those affected by the earthquake in Khan Sheikhoun area in Idlib countryside and preparations to open another center to accommodate all the affected families are underway.

Governor of Idlib, Thaer Salhab, stated that the governorate have put the first shelter center in Khan Sheikhoun into service for those affected by the earthquake. 13 families are currently residing in this center, receiving various kinds of relief, food, and medical aid.

Salhab stressed that Idlib governorate is preparing another shelter center to receive more numbers of people affected by earthquake, especially those who were asked to evacuate their cracked homes after they became inhabitable and threaten the safety of its residents as it were examined by the public and construction safety committees.  

He indicated that the shelter centers that have been equipped in Idlib countryside host the affected families from all the governorates.
