Romania announces providing medical aid to those affected by the earthquake in Syria

Bucharest (ST): The Romanian Ministry of Health announced the preparation of a shipment of medicines and health and medical materials to be sent to those affected by the earthquake in Syria.

Romanian Minister of Health Dr. Alexandru Ravella said: “I would like to express once again my solidarity and sympathy over the victims of the catastrophic earthquake in Syria,” noting that many Romanian medical companies responded to the humanitarian appeal and provided pharmaceuticals and health materials.

Ravella pointed out that the National Pharmaceutical Center has prepared  the medical aid, which were transported to military aircraft to be delivered by air, with the support of the Romanian Ministry of Defense, in accordance with the decision of the National Committee for Emergency Situations.
