President Bashar al-Assad affirmed that the delegation’s visit to Syria today means a lot to the Syrian people because it gives an indication of Arab brothers stand by the  Syrians’ side in the difficult circumstances they are exposed to as a result of the terrorist war and the repercussions of the earthquake.

President Bashar al-Assad said that this visit confirms that there are effective Arab institutions capable in various circumstances to take the initiative and move for the benefit of the Arab peoples

President Bashar al-Assad considered that the strength of the institutions that represent peoples comes from the fact that they represent the different spectrums and segments of society

The President of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union, Muhammad al-Halbousi, considered that the delegation came to Syria on behalf of all the members of the Union, to support the Syrian people
