Armenian President reiterates his country’s readiness to provide all support to Syria in facing repercussions of earthquake
Armenian President Vhaken Khachadorian has renewed his country’s readiness to provide all possible support and assistance to mitigate the repercussions of the devastating earthquake that hit Syria.
This came during the president’s meeting on Wednesday with the Syrian Ambassador to Armenia Noura Arissian. members of the embassy staff and representatives of the Syrian community. Talk during the meeting dealt wiyh the impacts of the earthquake, in addition to the historical friendship relations between the two friendly countries.
Khatchadorian praised the steadfastness and resistance of the Syrian people during the terrorist war they have been facing, stressing that Syria will overcome the current ordeal due to the earthquake.
For her part, the ambassador expressed Syria’s appreciation and gratitude for Armenia’s solidarity, which was manifested by sending a rescue team and humanitarian aid planes.
During a visit to the Syrian embassy in the capital, Yerevan, on the tenth of this month, the Armenian president affirmed his country’s solidarity and support for Syria following the violent earthquake.
