Syrian embassy in Tehran receives more donations and aid to those affected by the earthquake

The Syrian Embassy in Tehran, continues to receive in-kind and cash donations  provided by charitable organizations and associations, Iranian citizens, members of the Syrian community, and a number of foreign institutions in Iran, to those affected by the earthquake disaster in Syria.

The embassy was visited by the delegation of the Chinese Emergency Rescue Center Youbin Blue Leopard Association, who affirmed their readiness to provide in-kind assistance to the earthquake victims, especially food and blankets.

The Syrian ambassador in Tehran, Dr. Shafiq Dayoub, expressed his thanks and appreciation for the association’s initiative, and to the Chinese government and people, for their permanent standing by Syria and their support for the Syrian people.

In the same context, a number of Syrian students studying in Iran participated with the embassy staff in sorting and packing the aid provided to the affected people, in preparation for sending it to Syria as soon as possible.

Ambassador Dayoub expressed his thanks to everyone who stood by the Syrian people in these difficult circumstances, especially those who expressed their practical and direct solidarity with the Syrians in facing the consequences of this earthquake.

For his part, the head of the Iranian branch of the Student Union, Ali Abbas, said: “The National Union is in cooperation with the Syrian embassy, and some students are continuing to receive various in-kind aid.”
