Havana (ST): Cuba condemned the recent Israeli aggression that targeted residential areas in and around Damascus, killing five people and wounding 15 others.
Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez said in a tweet: Cuba condemns in the strongest terms the recent Israeli bombing of Damascus, warning that this irresponsible act is a threat to regional security.
Rodriguez added: This aggression violates the sovereignty of Syria and does not respect the pain of its people, especially after the devastating earthquake that claimed thousands of victims on the sixth of this month.
In her turn, Johanna Tablada, in charge of managing the affairs of the United States in the Cuban Foreign Ministry, condemned the aggression and said: “These attacks are brutal acts against a brotherly people who have suffered from war for years, stressing that what happened is the result of the impunity of the Israeli entity, and it is also the result of the double standards policy of the United States and other Western countries.
