Rocket Attack targets the US occupation base in Al-Omar oil field in Deir Ezzor countryside

The US occupation base in Al-Omar oilfield in Deir Ezzor countryside came under a rocket attack on Saturday, the Syria Arab News Agency (SANA) reported, citing local sources.

The sources told SANA that a rocket attack this evening targeted Al-Omar oilfield in Deir Ezzor eastern countryside where the US occupation forces have established an illegal base. The sources added that flames of fire were seen rising from the base.

No confirmed casualties or injuries among the US troops were reported.

Attacks targeting the US occupation bases in Syria increased during the past months amid popular refusal of any form of occupation of Syrian territories.
