53 citizens, who were harvesting truffles southeast of Al Sikhneh city in Homs eastern countryside, were martyred in a terrorist attack by ISIS (Daesh) terror organization on Friday.
Director of Palmyra National Hospital Walid Oudeh told SANA that the bodies of 53 martyrs arrived in the hospital, and examination revealed that they were martyred after being shot in the head.
He added that the hospital also received five other people with different injuries caused by shrapnel in different parts of their bodies. The injured received emergency treatment before they were transferred to Homs hospitals.
One of the survivals of this massacre told SANA that ISIS terrorists burned the citizens’ cars in the site of the attack.
