The Nationalist Council for Human Rights in Egypt announces its support for the Syrians in their ordeal

The National Council for Human Rights in Egypt announced its support for the Syrians in the ordeal caused by the earthquake that struck Syria recently.

 In a statement reported by SANA, the Council said ‘that it closely followed up on developments in Syria and Turkey and the thousands of victims left by the devastating earthquake that struck the two countries. It also followed up on to the destruction of the infrastructure and basic facilities especially in Syria, the country that has been suffering from the years of war, stressing the need to set politics aside and join efforts to provide more support and assistance to contribute to alleviating the suffering of the Syrian and Turkish peoples.

In the statement, the Council called on charitable organizations, unions, the Egyptian Red Crescent, and the international bodies to play their role in the field of humanitarian relief and provide more assistance to those who were affected by the earthquake.

 The Council hailed the call made by the President of Egypt Abdel Fattah El-Sisi during his participation in the World  Government Summit held in Dubai, in which he urged all countries to provide more aid to the Syrian people in this disaster.
