We announce our full solidarity with the Syrian people in their ordeal that has been going on for more than 12 years, and in the face of the humanitarian and illegal blockade imposed by the American administration. We declare our readiness to support this campaign by all means available until the fall of this blockade and its repercussions, and we send a message through you to the Syrian people that they are not alone in their suffering but rather, our entire nation is on the Syrian people’s side.”

Al-Shihabi said: “Lift the siege on Syria and know that your enemy is the United States of America, which is the first enemy of humanity, and the unjust siege imposed on Syria and its people is a form of  American creminality.
Al-Shihabi offered his condolences to Syria over the victims of the earthquake, and called on the Arab and Islamic countries to provide all forms of assistance to the Syrian government to help it deal with the impacts of the earthquake and for the Syrian people to overcome their ordeal and rebuild what was destroyed by the earthquake.
In Yemen, a member of the political bureau of the Ansarullah movement, Ali al-Qahoum, affirmed his full solidarity with Syria, and called for lifting the Western blockade imposed on it by the American administration and Western countries and for serious action to support Syria by all available means and capabilities to confront the earthquake disaster.
Al-Qahoum also called on the peoples of the Arab and Islamic world to stage angry demonstrations against this illegal blockade, which caused the deprivation of the Syrian people of their legitimate rights to a decent life inside their country.
Al-Qahoum condemned the position of the international community, the United Nations and the humanitarian organizations for not fulfilling their legal and moral duty towards the humanitarian catastrophe that occurred in Syria, as this is at the core of their duties, as well as by virtue of their membership in those international organizations.
